How to Modify a Checklist

Here’s how to modify a checklist. You can edit checklists you made yourself. Cleanster’s House, Apartment and Chore templates can’t be changed or deleted, so duplicate a template first and edit your copy.

Edit your own checklist

Open the Checklist screen and go to the My tab.
Tap ⋮ next to the checklist.
Tap Edit.
Add or remove rooms, and add, change or remove tasks and questions in each room.

Start from a Cleanster template

Find the template on the All or Templates tab.
Tap ⋮ next to it and choose Duplicate.
Edit your copy. The original template stays the same.

Other options in the ⋮ menu

Rename: give the checklist a new name.
Send a Copy: copy it to one of your teams.
Share with Friends: email a copy to someone outside your account.
Disable: hide it from the checklist picker.
Export: save it as a PDF.

Good to know: You can delete checklists you made, but not Cleanster’s templates.
