CleansterPro Background Check and ID Verification

Every cleaner on CleansterPro, in the US, Canada and the UK, must complete a full background check and ID verification before activation. We describe cleaners as background-checked after this process.

ID verification: Veriff (government ID plus a selfie)

Fees

United States: $29.99
Canada: $14.99
United Kingdom: shown in the app before you pay

The fee is one-time and non-refundable. In some cases you can have it deducted from your first job only if you already have an active unclaimed job when that option is offered in the app.

Reference checks

Every cleaner must also pass reference checks before they can claim jobs.

Accepted ID

Use an unexpired driver’s license, national ID or passport. An expired passport is not accepted.

Outside background checks

If you completed a background check elsewhere within the last 6 months (for example through another platform), we can accept it only with additional information proving it is your own check: your ID, a selfie holding your ID and a matching profile photo. A new check may still be required if our vendor’s requirements change.

Review timing
