How to Add or Reduce a Cleaner’s Hours

Here’s how to add or reduce a cleaner’s hours on a booking. It isn’t always easy to know how long a cleaning will take, so you can add or remove time on an upcoming booking.

1. On the booking card, tap the ⋮ (three dots) in the top-right corner, next to the price.
2. Tap Hours.
3. On Modify Hours, scroll the How many hours? picker. Positive numbers (like 0.75 hrs) add time; negative numbers (like −0.50 hrs) remove time. The change is added to your current booking, not a new total.
4. Check the breakdown, leave use Cleanster Cash balance ticked if you want to use your credit, and confirm the payment method.
5. Tap Pay to add time, or Refund to remove it.

Good to know: Your cleaner is notified right away. Removing time can’t take a booking below the minimum: 2 hours for homes and 1.5 hours for short-term rentals and offices.
