How to Create a Checklist from Scratch

Here’s how to create a checklist from scratch. A checklist tells your cleaner exactly what you need, room by room.

Open the Checklist screen and tap + (top right).
Type a name and tap Create a Checklist.
Enter a room or area name and tap Add This Room.
In the room, tap + and choose Add a Task or Ask a question.
For a task: type it and tap Add. Turn on Request photos from cleaner if you want a photo of that task.
For a question: type it, pick an answer type (Yes/No; Good/Fair/Poor/N/A; Very Low/Low/Medium/Full/N/A; or Text answer) and tap Add.
Repeat for each room.

To change it later, tap ⋮ next to the checklist. You can Edit, Duplicate, Rename, Send a Copy, Share with Friends, Disable or Export it as a PDF. You can delete checklists you made, but Cleanster’s House, Apartment and Chore templates can’t be changed or deleted.

Good to know: Your cleaner answers each question with a picker or a text answer, depending on the answer type. When the job is completed, you’ll see the answers with the before and after photos.
